Policy Philosophy

Preneurdemy operates a digital, access-based service model. This policy is designed to do four things:

  • Ensure transparency before purchase — so you know exactly what you are buying and what refund rights apply.
  • Protect your statutory rights — nothing in this policy removes rights you have under mandatory law in your country.
  • Reflect real delivery costs — once you access our platform, real resources are committed on our side. The refund structure reflects this fairly.
  • Ensure consistency — all decisions are made against a documented internal framework. No request is decided arbitrarily. All discretionary decisions are made using an internal assessment framework to ensure consistency, fairness, and non-discrimination.
This policy is not designed to obstruct legitimate refund claims. Where discretion exists, we apply it in good faith and in a commercially reasonable manner.

1

Jurisdiction & Scope

Who We Are

Preneurdemy Ltd is incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CAC RC: 9253638) and operates globally. This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply, those rights are preserved to the minimum extent required. This single policy applies to all customers worldwide — we do not issue separate regional policies.

Services Covered

  • Training Programmes — cohorts, workshops, bootcamps (see §4)
  • Tech.Preneurdemy Platform — enrolment, trials, mentorship, subscriptions (see §5)
  • Vision1000 Sponsorships — student-place and cohort funding (see §6)
  • Digital Products & Ancillary Services — course materials, templates, toolkits, downloadable resources, certifications, and portfolio reviews (see §7)
🌍
If you are outside Nigeria, you retain any non-waivable statutory rights under your local law. Those rights prevail to the minimum extent legally required. This policy is fully enforceable in all other respects.

2

Your Statutory Rights

Nigerian Customers

You are protected under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018, including rights to fair dealing, quality service, transparent pricing, and protection from unfair contract terms. You may escalate unresolved disputes to the FCCPC at www.fccpc.gov.ng.

UK & EU Customers — 14-Day Cooling-Off

Where applicable local law grants a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract, this applies only if:

  • No service has commenced, and
  • No digital content has been accessed.

Where you request immediate access, you expressly consent to the loss or reduction of your statutory cancellation rights to the extent permitted by applicable law. That right is reduced proportionately from the point access is granted. To exercise cooling-off, email us with subject: COOLING-OFF CANCELLATION — [Name] — [Reference].

All Other Markets

Any non-waivable consumer rights under your local law are preserved to the minimum extent legally required. Contact us if you need jurisdiction-specific guidance.

3

Core Principles

Service Commencement

Service is considered started — and refund eligibility reduced — upon the earliest of: platform account activation, first content access, mentorship booking, trial entry, or resource download.

Pre-Access Consent

Before any content is unlocked, all users complete a mandatory consent checkpoint acknowledging that access constitutes service commencement. The timestamp, IP address, and resource accessed are logged and retained for 7 years in accordance with applicable data protection laws, as evidence in any dispute.

🔐
Evidence Consent. By completing payment, you agree that access logs, consent records, and usage data may be used as evidence in any payment dispute or chargeback process.

No Employment Guarantee

Preneurdemy is a talent development platform. We do not guarantee employment, a specific job offer, a minimum salary, or any career outcome. Dissatisfaction with employment outcomes is not a basis for a refund under any circumstances.

Service Description

By purchasing, you confirm that you have reviewed the programme description and delivery model. Refunds based on misunderstanding of the service — where accurate information was available at purchase — will not be accepted.

Situations Where Refunds Do Not Apply

Except where required by applicable law, no refund will be issued for:

  • Removal due to rule violations, misconduct, or fraud.
  • Digital content accessed — except for a verified technical failure preventing meaningful access.
  • Employment outcome dissatisfaction (absolute — no exceptions).
  • Failure to complete due to change of mind or personal circumstances not meeting exceptional criteria.
  • Non-attendance at sessions without 24 hours' prior written notice.
  • Voluntary withdrawal after the applicable cancellation deadline.
  • Misunderstanding of service where accurate information was provided.

5

Tech.Preneurdemy Platform

Stage-Based Refund Model

Stage classification is determined by the platform usage log — not by your own assessment.

1
Pre-Access Account created. No module accessed, no mentorship booked, no trial activated.
Full — within 7 days
60% — Day 8–21
2
Active Learning At least one module accessed, assignment submitted, AI assistant used, or session booked.
Up to 30% (discretionary)
3
Trial / Employer Phase Live employer task, trial placement, or work simulation entered. Employer resources engaged.
No refund
4
Post-Hire Employment placement confirmed and completed through the platform.
No refund

Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime — takes effect at end of current billing period. No partial-period refunds.
  • Annual subscriptions with zero usage cancelled within 7 days: full refund minus processing fees.

Employer & Partner Fees

  • Trial fees are non-refundable once a trial is activated and a student assigned.
  • Hiring fees are non-refundable where the hire proceeds.
  • Partner tier subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.

Instalment Plans

All instalments become legally due from the date platform access commences. Missed payments trigger access restriction within 5 business days (3-day grace period applies). Persistent non-payment may result in permanent account closure and withholding of certification.

6

Vision1000 Sponsorships

Sponsorship payments are non-refundable from the point the sponsored place is activated and the beneficiary commences their programme — except in the following cases where a full refund is mandatory:

  • Verified duplicate payment.
  • Confirmed payment system error.
  • Programme cancelled by Preneurdemy before commencement.
  • Required by a binding regulatory or court order.

Reallocation Options

Where a refund is unavailable, we may offer: transfer of the place to an alternative beneficiary, credit toward a future cohort (valid 12 months), or pro-rata credit for the undelivered portion of a partially completed programme.

7

Digital Products & Ancillary Services

Digital Content

Accessing, downloading, or streaming any digital content (course materials, templates, toolkits, recordings, downloadable resources, or any other form of digital product) constitutes service delivery and significantly limits refund eligibility — except where required by applicable law, or where a verified technical failure prevented meaningful access to the content. Technical failure claims require screenshots, error messages, or written support acknowledgement.

Mentorship Sessions

  • Cancelled with 24+ hours' notice: session credit applied.
  • Cancelled with fewer than 24 hours' notice or no-show: forfeited.
  • Cancelled by Preneurdemy: rescheduled or credited.
  • Standalone packages not yet commenced: full refund within 7 days of purchase.

Certifications & Portfolio Reviews

Non-refundable once the assessment window opens or the reviewer initiates the review process.

8

Payments & Currency

  • Processing fees (gateway charges, FX fees, bank costs) are non-refundable and deducted from approved refunds — except where a statutory full refund is required.
  • Refund method: returned via original payment method where possible. If not possible, we will contact you within 5 business days to agree an alternative.
  • Currency: refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Preneurdemy is not liable for exchange rate movements between payment and refund dates.

9

  • Full legal name and account email.
  • Payment receipt or enrolment reference number.
  • Date of payment, amount, and currency.

Step 3 — Arbitration

Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023 (Nigeria). Seat: Lagos, Nigeria. Language: English. Decision is final and binding.

11

Chargebacks & Fraud

Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us and allow 5 business days to resolve the matter directly. Most disputes can be resolved faster and without the cost of card network processes.

If a Chargeback Is Initiated

  • Platform access is suspended immediately.
  • We submit a complete evidence package: consent logs, access timestamps, usage records, and communications.
  • Unwarranted chargebacks may result in permanent account restriction.
  • Chargebacks initiated dishonestly may constitute fraudulent misrepresentation under Nigerian law.
🚫
Zero Tolerance for Fraud. Submitting false documentation, initiating multiple refund requests for the same service, or accessing content and claiming non-access constitutes fraud. Accounts will be permanently closed and matters referred to relevant authorities.
